It's located directly on the lake and surrounded by beautiful countryside
The Château has four levels: on the ground floor is the entrance and a spacious sitting-room with a monumental fireplace. From here you have a fantastic view of the great lake. Beside the sitting-room area is a large dining-room and a second fireplace. From the dining-room you have access to the terrace overlooking the valley of the Vachau. Adjacent to the dining room is the kitchen.

From the sitting-room area you will be guided through a wide wooden staircase to the first floor. You will enter a spacious, dignified castle hall. Adjecent thereto, most of the stylish rooms are situated. On the second floor are the other rooms and is a beautiful multi-functional activity room under the roof of the Château.

In the Château you have at your disposal 18 bedrooms, located on the first and second floor, with stunning views of the surrounding environment.

On the second floor there are also 8 additional rooms to rent. Beside that, it is possible to place an extra bed in 9 rooms of the Château.

All rooms are simply but stylish and comfortably furnished and all have a washing stand. 7 rooms have access to their own sanitary facilities (shower and toilet), the remaining rooms share 9 toilets and 10 showers. Alls beds are made on arrival and equipped with a set of towels.

Central to the sitting-room area is a monumental fireplace. Arround it are comfortable sofas, there is a piano and a stereo system. Adjecent is a large wooden terrace, devided in three levels, overlooking the lake.

Beside the Boulangerie is an authentic, indoor woord-fired brick oven. Here you can bake your own bread, pizzas or cakes.

Immediately after the main entrance is a large parking area with a capacity of about 40 cars. We try to protect the natural encironment as much as possible and keep the space around the Château free from cars.

Sauna with a view

In the lower floor, overlooking the lake, there is a large sauna for 14 persons. From the sauna you can use the lake as a plunge pool, easily accessible via a comfortable staircase. Adjecent to the sauna are showers,and a closet with large sauna-towels. There is also an infra-red cabin for 2 persons. On the second floor there are also 2 massagerooms and a solarium.

The Château has a kitchen with a capacity to prepare meals for 100 people. You rent the Château on the basis of self-catering. We have contact with excellent cooks and we can, according to your wishes, bring you in contact with them. Prices for the meals are, in consultation with your chosen cook, determined.

In the dining room you will find a large wooden, handmade, oval table with 25 chairs. There is the possibility to place extra tables and chairs, so that the capacity can be adjusteed up to 75 seats. In the dining room is also a fireplace. From the dining rooms you have access to a spacious stone terrace.

Outdoor

Located next to a lake

Besides the two terraces there is plenty of outdoor space immediately surrounding the Château that can be used for numerous outdoor activities. Opposite the entrance is a lawn where a fireplace is situated. On the side of the dining room is a large lawn for multi-functional purposes.

Directly at the lake is a sun terrace where sun loungers are arranged during the summer: after a good swim in the lake it is lovely to stay here. There are 2 rowboats moored here, which are available to you. In addition, 25 acres of forest are at your disposal, where you can enjoy the undisturbed nature and silence.

Additionally, there is the possibility to rent additional rooms in the Écurie (see Écurie rates). Note: Renting additional rooms in the Écurie is only possible once all extra rooms in the Château have been rented. Extra: If all the extra rooms in the Château are rented for a week, the fee for the Grand Hall in the Écurie will be waived, valid until December 31, 2024.
